There are several programs that you can use. Basically, what you want to check and possibly change the file format. BMP files are much larger than the size of the JPEG file. As a rule you can say what type of image file name extension. BMP, JPG, GIF, for example.

You can use the total size of the image;

Reduce the number of pixels (x, y) say 1024x768 for 102x76. (Note that aspect ratio!)
Reduce the number of colors in the picture. 16 million colors, 32 thousand colors, 256 colors or just black and white! Fewer colors means less data bits!
Reduce the DPI (dots per inch). If the image is an image of 300 dpi, and it will show you on a site, then change the dpi up to 72 or 96th
And like before you save the file as a JPG or GIF mentioned. JPG recommend. You can also use the general quality of the JPG image, which will further reduce the size of the image.

Friend, if you reduce the file size, the loss of status / Resul. In any case, do not think I will use Photoshop, which is the Word file with the photo to go. Click on the top right of the image and likeness. it. Minimize the Word program and open the Paint program in Start> Programs> Accessories> Paint, then over the image and click Save As, click Save as type, select JPEG, and enter a user name and image to remember where you saved. Thank you and enjoy.

Menu you will find a selection called resize, and if you save as a JPEG file to save is an option in the menu. Can you reduce your dpi to reduce file size. When you right-click on the image of which you speak, you should an option to Save or Save As on the shortcut menu, save it somewhere be recalled and will open in PS

Hello Laura. To http://www.shrinkpictures.com/ and follow the instructions on the screen.

That gives you a little picture in JPEG format.
Remember that smaller = less bytes
