I'm in the market for a used boat, I'm really looking forward to this new, I wonder, what exactly is an alpha subunit, this boat has a Mercruiser and alpha-subunits. Opinions about the sustainability and reliability of this machine? I know that your engine Chevy 305 W / 228HP. Thanks for any help

The 228 is the last in 1984, making the engine less than 25 years. Would you buy a car for 25 years and we hope that it is reliable?
